Competition format

  1. 16 teams will be divided into 4 pools of 4 teams and will compete on a round robin basis
  2. After the completion of the round robin phase, teams will compete in cross pool playoffs determined by the finishing order in the pool phase
  3. The competition will then split into a CUP section (winners of the playoffs) and PLATE section (losers of the playoffs)
  4. Teams in the Cup and Plate sections will compete in the quarter finals, semi finals and final.

Registration (teams and player)

  1. All teams must complete the registration form and return it to the organisers by Thursday 25 February 2021
  2. Each team can register as many players as they choose
  3. We are appealing to all clubs to treat this competition in the spirit in which it is intended i.e. to get players back on the cricket field. A number of clubs have entered multiple teams and we appeal to these clubs not to interchange players out of respect for other clubs in the competition.  Furthermore, we have to comply with strict COVID protocols including player registers, etc. and interchanging players makes this extremely difficult
  4. If clubs do not adhere to the request in 2.3 above, penalties may be imposed at the discretion of the tournament director and organisers.
